UBC Apple Festival - Taste up to 60 apples grown in British Columbia

18 Oct to 19 Oct

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Or how about two, or three
  or 60?

It's the UBC Apple Festival again – and a variety of apples

will be available for tasting and purchase. For $3.00, you

can taste up to 60 different types of apples grown in

  British Columbia.

Every year over 30,000 lbs of apples are sold at the festival

and even a variety of apple trees that are perfect for the

home garden or patio. At the festival, feast on apple pie,

hot apple cider and other delicious treats. Don't forget to

purchase a jug of BC organic apple juice for later.

Lastly, if you want ideas of what to do with the many apples you plan to buy, watch a free demonstration on grafting and cider pressing. All funds generated from the festival support research and educational activities at UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research UBC Apple.

Festival Dates: October 18 and 19, 2008
